I had the opportunity to have a session with Patrick. Patrick is active duty in the military and the time he was in the service for28 years. He would soon be retiring in 2 years from that date. I had him set up in a field on a farm because that is some place that sort of resembles what the military is about but at the same time it leaves and err of mystery in a sense that it was a man in his uniform. The day of the shoot was a bit chilly but in the back of my mind, I kept telling myself that it was December and it should have been colder than it was. I really enjoyed working Patrick because he was certainly an open book. He was telling me about his years in the military and didn't seem to mind my rather curious personality. (Stories of people in the military are always very intriguing for me). He was very easy to pose and since he was in uniform it wasn't hard for him to find his groove in front of the camera.
