I had the opportunity to shoot one of my friends from high school who recently joined the Navy. We planned the shoot about two months in advanced through text message because he no linger lives in Maryland. Let me bring you back that frigid cold day in December. It took place on December 27th which happened to be a beautiful blue sky, sunny day. But boy were those looks deceiving. It was about 35 degrees and very very very windy so you can only imagine how cold it actually was with the wind chill. Since Taylor and his girlfriend Kayanna were not wearing any winter outerwear at all for the sake of getting gorgeous single and couple shots, they took turns warming up in the studio waiting for the other person to come back so they could have their turn in front of the camera. Taylor and Kayanna did amazing, they were so natural in front of the camera and they braved the winters cold with me as if it was a 70 degree day. Thank you to all of the brave men and woman that serve for this country. We would not be able to do it without you.
